Leak testing / impregnation
FINOBA AUTOMOTIVE uses a differential pressure method to test power-train components for leak-tightness. Depending on the specific requirements, the different pressure chambers can be tested independently of each other. This ensures that cast-in channels are also leak tight.
Impregnation of cast, light-metal power-train parts
If components are not leak-tight, FINOBA AUTOMOTIVE can also use its in-house impregnation unit to treat them with synthetic resin to seal any microcracks and return what would otherwise be reject parts to the production loop. This avoids the otherwise inevitable losses in value creation.
