Shot blasting

The cast blanks are completely deburred and any surface defects are rectified using a fully automated system comprising overhead conveyor with continuous-feed blasting unit. Wheel blasters impinge the shot onto the castings at high speed. This gives the parts a perfect surface appearance, which fulfils the most stringent demands with respect to the absence of flashes. Hanomag Aluminium Solutions also has a semi-automatic shot blasting unit for use with small production runs and special parts.
