Leak testing

Hanomag Aluminium Solutions uses a differential pressure test method to power-train components for leak-tightness. Depending on the specific requirements, the different pressure chambers can be tested independently of each other. This ensures that cast-in channels are also leak tight.


Impregnation of cast, light-metal power-train parts

If components are not leak-tight, Hanomag Aluminium Solutions can also use its in-house impregnation unit to treat them with a synthetic resin to seal any microcracks. This avoids the otherwise inevitable losses in value creation.
